WriteEditDesign has been developing and maintaining web sites since 2005.
Well-rounded experience in Graphic Design, Sales, Marketing, Print Design and Brokering , Real Estate and Finance Industries and Internet Marketing in a 30-year working career.
After completing a cadetship with BBDO – one of the largest international advertising agencies in the world – and spending 8 years working on some major brands such as Colgate, Flora Margarine, Chrysler South Africa, and many more I immigrated to Australia. Within a couple of years I set up and operated a very successful Graphic Design and PR company in Sydney for over 12 years.
I sold that business and moved to Queensland where I worked for six years as a Media Representative, preparing advertising campaigns for clients up and the Coast of North Queensland. After a seven year stint in Real Estate and a move to Perth, I started to set up my own internet sites and translated my design and marketing skills into the ‘On-line’ World of the Internet. I have a number of my own websites and blogs, as well as designing websites for a wide range of clients. These have given me a very clear understanding of the type of content required to be successful in this arena.
I got involved with a Government Scheme (NEIS) to help people to develop their business ideas and make them independent of Social Security. Many of these people desperately needed a website but the costs were prohibitive and/or the websites were conceived with no knowledge of marketing or the commercial needs of small business. Often the sites were ‘pretty’ but simply didn’t deliver the business. More and more I found it was not just these NEIS clients that needed help. I saw a growing need for smaller companies to get an affordable on-line presence that worked and so WriteEditDesign.com was born.
